Job summary

Bob's Discount Furniture, a fast-growing omni-channel retailer, seeks a General Ledger Accountant to lead monthly close, prepare journal entries, and perform account reconciliations alongside the GL team and business partners.

You will contribute to financial reporting, asset accounting, and internal controls, with exposure to SAP/Oracle Cloud, fixed assets, and cross-functional collaboration. A bachelor’s degree in accounting and advanced Excel are required; CPA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Advanced Excel skills mandatory.
• Strong systems aptitude and analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly close activities.
• Prepare and post journal entries with proper supporting documentation.
• Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Own daily banking and funding processes.
• Assist with fixed asset accounting and capital accounting.
• Support internal controls and external audits.
• Develop and distribute financial reports and analyses.
• Collaborate with GL team and business partners.
