Job summary

Cochise College Foundation seeks an Executive Director to lead fundraising, donor relations, and strategic communication. You will collaborate with college staff, the foundation board, and external professionals to advance philanthropic giving and promote a positive public image of the college and foundation.

Required: bachelor’s degree with five years of fundraising or nonprofit management, plus two years of leadership experience; master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field; master’s preferred.
• Five years fundraising or nonprofit management experience.
• Two years leadership/management experience.
• Equivalent combination of education/experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage fundraising strategies with staff and board.
• Cultivate alumni and donor relationships; manage scholarships funding.
• Plan and execute events to promote the Foundation.
• Personally solicit funds through face-to-face asks and campaigns.
• Identify major prospects and planned gift donors with college partners.
• Represent college and foundation at public events and manage budgets.
