Job summary

Peralta Community College District seeks an experienced executive to lead the Peralta Colleges Foundation, providing strategic direction for fundraising, donor stewardship, and scholarship programs. This leadership role ensures compliance with nonprofit regulations while advancing student success and equity initiatives in alignment with District priorities.

The position oversees budget, donor data, and end-to-end campaigns, collaborating with College Presidents, the Chancellor, and Foundation

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Three years of progressively responsible fundraising/nonprofit experience.
Experience with donor databases, fundraising tracking systems, and financial reporting.
Demonstrated sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds of community college students, faculty and staff.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day operational leadership of the Peralta Colleges Foundation, ensuring compliance with 501(c)(3) regulations and district policies.
Develop and oversee the Foundation budget in collaboration with District finance staff.
Lead end-to-end scholarship administration, including application processing and donor reporting.
Cultivate major gift strategies and donor relations to support student success and equity goals.
Coordinate fundraising campaigns, donor communications, and Foundation board activities.
