Job summary

University Circle Alliance seeks a dynamic Director of Advancement to serve as chief fundraising officer and member of the senior leadership team. You will design and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to strengthen philanthropic support for the organization’s mission and long-term vision.

You will manage a portfolio of major donors, lead strategy and operations, supervise the advancement team, and engage board leadership while representing UCA across Greater Cleveland.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in development/philanthropy or related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or relevant experience.
• Track record as a fundraiser, leader, collaborator and strategist.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive, broad-based development plan.
• Establish measurable fundraising goals, benchmarks, and performance metrics.
• Lead advancement team and collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning.
• Support board engagement in philanthropy and serve as liaison to committees.
• Build relationships with donors, grant officers, and external partners.
• Oversee donor stewardship and plan events that grow philanthropy.
