Job summary

Cleveland State Community College in Cleveland, Tennessee seeks a Director of Advancement to lead fundraising, major gifts, and donor relations, guiding strategies to support scholarships, programs and capital needs.

The role partners with college leadership, engages alumni and community partners, directs events and campaigns, and reports to the President, with a strong emphasis on stewardship and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of six years in fundraising/advancement, donor relations, events, or marketing.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead fundraising efforts for scholarships, programs, capital projects, and unbudgeted needs.
• Secure major gifts and steward funded projects with donors and foundations.
• Develop and implement fundraising programs, campaigns and events to meet goals.
• Engage donors, alumni, business leaders, trustees and community partners to raise support.
