Job summary

State of Missouri, Department of Social Services, is seeking an Advance Planning Coordinator at the Howerton State Office Building in Jefferson City. You will secure enhanced federal participation for IS projects, manage budgets, track expenditures, and report to agencies while collaborating with IT, divisions, and federal partners.

You will guide APD preparation, contract amendments, and financial metrics, ensuring alignment with federal guidance and the DSS IT strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 24 earned credit hours in Business/Public Administration, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
• Four or more years of professional experience in project, budget, or financial management or grant writing and management.
• Substitutions may be allowed.

Responsibilities

• Create Advance Planning Documents (APDs) and supporting documents for enhanced funding requests.
• Write, review, track APDs, contract amendments, budgets, scopes, and supporting docs.
• Submit APDs and contracts to federal partners; coordinate with owners and financial staff.
