Job summary

Navitas Credit is seeking a Funding Analyst in Columbia, SC to apply funding guidelines to transactions and evaluate packages while protecting Navitas' interests and serving customers. You will report to the Funding Director and work with brokers, vendors, lessees, and internal teams to ensure accurate funding decisions.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or equivalent with strong analytical, communication, and numeric skills, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office and amortization

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook; experience with QuickBooks, TValue or similar amortization software, and other business applications preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to prepare routine reports, correspondence, and communicate with employees, customers, vendors, and partners.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively under deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Interprets and applies guidelines to standard funding packages and determines whether to fund transactions.
• Communicates with brokers, vendors, lessees/borrowers, and colleagues regarding funding questions.
• Verifies Navitas' yield and commissions are within guidelines.
• Orders and evaluates on-site inspection verifications and reports.
