Job summary

Nextera Search is seeking an experienced Strategic Financing Analyst in New York City to monitor financing arrangements, analyze options, and coordinate with Legal, Development, and Operations on financing initiatives.

The role requires a finance degree and 1–7 years of relevant experience, with strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Excel and Outlook. You will support renewals, refinancings, and funding activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 1–7 years of relevant experience within financial services.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Monitor financing arrangements and help ensure compliance with applicable terms and reporting requirements.
• Partner with Legal, Business Development, Operations, and other internal teams on new initiatives and information requests.
• Assist with evaluating financing alternatives and reviewing proposals from external counterparties.
• Support the renewal, amendment, and refinancing of existing arrangements as needed.
• Oversee ongoing financing activity and coordinate related operational processes.
• Work with internal teams to support transaction closings, funding activity, and recurring monitoring.
• Review financing levels across investment vehicles and help ensure they remain consistent with established guidelines.
• Evaluate investments in connection with available financing arrangements.
• Coordinate required reviews and approvals with external financing partners.
