Job summary

Cognizant is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer (Golang & React) to design and develop secure, scalable enterprise healthcare applications. You will work with product management, QA, operations, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable digital solutions.

You will build backend services in Golang, create responsive React apps, and optimize PostgreSQL data models while ensuring security and performance via CI/CD, testing, and observability.

Qualifications

• Five to eight years of software development experience with hands-on Golang.
• Strong knowledge of secure coding practices and secure SDLC.
• Experience designing and optimizing PostgreSQL databases and queries.
• Hands-on experience developing responsive web apps with React.
• Experience integrating Golang services with PostgreSQL and React apps.
• Healthcare provider domain experience.
• Experience with code reviews, automated testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and development of backend services using Golang.
• Establish secure coding standards and mentor on security best practices.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and data-access patterns.
• Develop and integrate responsive React applications with Golang services.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and operations to meet security and performance goals.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Drive code quality and performance via testing, profiling, and CI/CD.
• Document architecture decisions and service contracts.
