Job summary

US LBM, a leading distributor of specialty building materials, seeks a Fulfillment Buyer to manage procurement and inventory for fulfillment operations. You will place POs, negotiate terms, monitor stock levels, and collaborate with locations and suppliers to ensure product availability.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in a related field and 5 years in purchasing or inventory roles, with strong MS Excel and procurement system skills. This role supports multiple divisions nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field preferred.
• 5 years of purchasing, inventory management, or warehousing experience.
• Strong knowledge of building materials to support supply chain objectives.

Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders for assigned product categories across US LBM divisions and Regions.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective purchasing and timely product availability.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with location leaders to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
• Collaborate with location leaders and fulfillment manager on inventory issues and product costing.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding adjustments, incorrect materials, deliveries, and resolutions.
• Maintain daily communications with US LBM divisions/markets on inventory, shipping, and inbound inventory tracking.
