Job summary

US LBM is seeking a Fulfillment Buyer to drive procurement across US LBM divisions, maintaining inventory levels and timely order placement to meet customer demand. You will negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers, monitor stock levels with location leaders, and coordinate with fulfillment, inventory management, and logistics teams to ensure cost-effective purchasing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• 5 years of experience in purchasing, inventory control/management, materials input, or warehousing.
• Strong knowledge of the building materials industry to support Supply Chain objectives.
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multi-project management abilities.
• Proficient in procurement software, inventory management systems, and MS Office (Excel highly valued).

Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders for assigned product categories across US LBM divisions and regions.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective purchasing and timely availability.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with location leaders to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
• Collaborate with fulfillment, inventory management, and logistics teams on daily inventory-related activities.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding adjustments, incorrect materials, deliveries, and resolutions.
• Maintain daily communications with US LBM divisions/markets on inventory and inbound tracking.
