Job summary

US LBM is seeking a Fulfillment Buyer to manage procurement and inventory for fulfillment operations nationwide. You will ensure timely product availability, maintain supplier relationships, and support cost-effective purchasing across divisions.

Responsibilities include placing purchase orders, negotiating terms, monitoring stock levels, and collaborating with location leaders and fulfillment teams to optimize inventory and processes.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in purchasing, inventory control/management, materials input, or warehousing.
• Strong knowledge of the building materials industry to support Supply Chain objectives.
• Ability to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules effectively.

Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders for assigned product categories across divisions and regions.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with location leaders to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Collaborate with fulfillment, inventory management, and logistics teams on daily inventory-related tasks.
• Coordinate issues with suppliers regarding adjustments, deliveries, and discrepancies.
• Maintain daily communications with divisions/markets on inbound inventory and shipping information.
