About the Role:
As a Pricing Analyst at TQL, you will partner closely with our sales teams to develop competitive pricing for new and existing customers. You will serve as a trusted pricing resource, analyzing market conditions, forecasting costs and recommending pricing strategies for high-value opportunities and large-scale bids.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Serve as the primary pricing resource for sales representatives completing bid requests for prospective and existing customers
- Analyze requests and provide accurate truck-pay forecasts using internal pricing tools, historical data and current market conditions
- Partner with sales reps and sales leadership to develop customer pricing strategies for large, complex or high-value bids
- Evaluate trends to identify market shifts, pricing risks and opportunities
- Communicate pricing recommendations, assumptions and market considerations clearly to sales representatives
- Monitor bid performance and pricing outcomes to improve the accuracy and competitiveness of future recommendations
- Help enhance pricing algorithms and forecasting methodologies so internal tools more accurately reflect anticipated rates
- Partner with IT and Product Management to identify, test and implement improvements to pricing tools
- Incorporate external data and market intelligence when appropriate to strengthen internal pricing analysis
- Manage multiple pricing requests and deadlines while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and attention to detail
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, analytics, supply chain or a related field preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make sound pricing recommendations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain analytical findings to sales professionals and leaders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications
- Basic understanding of freight markets, transportation pricing or supply-and-demand dynamics
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to build effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization, including sales representatives and sales management
- Familiarity with statistical analysis, forecasting or data-modeling concepts
- Experience with SQL, Power BI or similar analytics and visualization tools is a plus
