Job summary

R+L Global Logistics is seeking a Supply Chain Consultant to cultivate relationships with existing customers and develop larger accounts. You will create strategy and design supply chain solutions that meet customers’ business needs while delivering unmatched service.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in freight/logistics, a related bachelor’s degree, strong interpersonal skills, and experience with third‑party logistics, freight options, and freight software such as McLeod and Cargowise; English

Qualifications

5+ years in logistics and transportation, including 3PL, supply chain, and final mile.
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent education plus work experience.
Strong team-building and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and cultivate relationships.

Responsibilities

Acquire and develop new business.
Cultivate relationships with existing customers to grow accounts.
Create and drive a business plan strategy to meet sales goals.
Maintain knowledge of services and customer requirements.
Present full range of services to customers to build complete logistics solutions.
Prepare quotes for new and existing partners to meet monthly/quarterly goals.
Coordinate with Capacity Procurement to service loads.
Communicate with Capacity team and carriers about issues.
Conduct quarterly business reviews with customers.
Schedule face-to-face meetings to build relationships.
