Allen Lund Company is seeking a Transportation Broker in Orlando to manage inbound and outbound shipping logistics, perform daily load check calls, resolve customer inquiries, and prepare freight documents. You will engage with shippers and carriers to optimize capacity and pricing.

The role emphasizes relationship building, problem solving, and delivering service excellence in a fast-paced environment. Prior freight brokerage experience and college degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 year’s experience in Freight Brokerage/customer service. College degree highly desired or equivalent experience.
• Self‑motivated, enthusiastic team player who excels in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and excellent work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Acquisition: Contact new customers and be responsible for customer acquisitions.
• Relationship Building: Develop and increase profitable volume with existing and newly acquired shippers, and build relationships with developing accounts.
• Consultation: Use strong relationships to understand customer’s business, better qualifying them to identify and solve the customer’s problems.
• Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Carrier Management & Pricing: Build relationships with carriers and negotiate rates to balance capacity and cost.
