Job summary

Altera in San Jose, CA seeks a Business Development Manager to drive growth of FPGA-based solutions in Automotive and Transportation markets. You will lead engagements from early-stage opportunities to multi-year design wins, bridging customers, product management, and engineering.

You will articulate system-level value, coordinate with ecosystem partners, and position FPGA platforms against ASSPs, SoCs, GPUs, and MCUs while addressing functional safety and long lifecycle requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; 7+ years in automotive/embedded environments.
• Knowledge of E/E architectures, sensors, and fusion in ADAS/AD.
• Experience selling FPGA-based solutions and system-level thinking.

Responsibilities

• Drive design wins across Automotive and Transportation segments.
• Engage OEMs, Tier-1/2 suppliers and system integrators to position FPGA solutions.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering on system-level architectures and reference designs.
