Job summary

Altera Corporation in the Bay Area seeks a Wireline Marketing Manager to lead marketing and technical positioning for the FPGA and SoC FPGA portfolio in Routing/Switching and Security. You will build market models, own KPI targets, and develop white papers, blogs, and presentations translating complex hardware concepts into clear messaging for technical and business audiences.

The role partners with Sales and FAEs, supports RFIs/RFPs, and represents Altera at industry events, with compensation

Qualifications

• 10+ years in networking and/or security infrastructure.
• Experience with FPGA-based development for networking.
• Knowledge of MACsec, IPsec, AES-GCM, and post-quantum crypto.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Build TAM/SAM models for Routing/Switching and Security.
• Own wireline KPI targets including design wins and market share.
• Develop white papers, solution briefs, blogs, and technical presentations.
• Translate complex hardware concepts into clear messaging for technical and business audiences.
• Create sales enablement collateral and competitive materials.
• Support RFIs, RFPs, and technical evaluations.
• Represent Altera at events and customer briefings.
