Job summary

WorkWave seeks a Strategic Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team, partnering with ELT and senior stakeholders. You will own planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and board-ready reporting, translating financial data into actionable insights.

You\'ll build rigorous financial models, challenge assumptions, and help leaders navigate risks and opportunities in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
• 3–6 years of FP&A or related analytical experience.
• Experience presenting to senior leaders (VP-level or above).
• Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel/Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary finance partner for one or more business units, building relationships with ELT and senior stakeholders.
• Own the annual budget, monthly forecast, and long-range planning processes.
• Analyze monthly/quarterly results vs. budget and forecast, identifying drivers of variance.
• Build financial models and business cases to support strategic initiatives.
• Prepare board-ready and ELT-ready materials and KPI dashboards.
