GM Performance Power Units in Concord, NC is seeking an ambitious Finance Business Partner to provide high-impact financial insight and support business units in achieving their goals. This role involves owning budgeting, forecasting, and delivering actionable financial guidance to departmental leaders.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field, strong analytical skills, and experience in FP&A.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required; MBA or professional certification preferred.
• Experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or business partnering roles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence non-finance stakeholders.
• Ability to operate independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of assigned areas.
• Adaptability and resilience in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Own budgeting, forecasting and rolling outlook processes for assigned departments.
• Partner directly with departmental leaders to understand business drivers and provide financial guidance.
• Provide variance analysis, forward looking insights, and scenario modeling.
• Lead and support business case development for incremental spend.
• Monitor spend against forecast and approved business cases.
• Support monthly close activities by partnering with Financial Reporting and Control Team.
• Collaborate with Business Intelligence Team to define reporting requirements.
• Deliver high quality financial inputs and analysis for shareholder and Board materials.
