Job summary

Brightspeed is seeking a Financial Analyst, Management Reporting in Charlotte, NC, to support enterprise financial accounting activities, internal and external reporting, and month-end close. You will partner with cross-functional leaders to deliver actionable insights, maintain financial models, and enable strategic decision making for the company.

You will prepare recurring reports, analyze results for trends and variances, and collaborate across Finance, Sales, Operations, IT, and other teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in corporate finance, accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, or related analytical finance role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and distribute recurring financial reports, dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting packages.
• Analyze financial and operational results to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
• Partner with Finance, Sales & Marketing, Operations, IT, and other functions to understand forecast assumptions, drivers and variances, and improve financial accuracy.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close reporting through variance analysis and management commentary.
• Maintain and leverage financial accounting and reporting systems, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.
• Assist with ad hoc financial analyses, executive presentations, and strategic initiatives as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting processes, month-end close processes, and analytical capabilities through process enhancements and automation.
• Build collaborative relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to support informed business decisions.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
