TalentBridge partners with a well-established organization in Charlotte, NC to appoint a hands-on Director of FP&A to lead planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis. The role balances strategic finance with day-to-day analysis and requires building and mentoring a team of analysts while partnering with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 7–10+ years of progressive FP&A/finance experience.
• Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis processes.
• Advanced financial modeling skills built from the ground up.
• Experience mentoring financial analysts with a hands-on leadership approach.
• Strong ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP, FP&A platforms, and reporting tools.
• Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, SQL, automation or AI-enabled tools.
• MBA, CPA, CFA or equivalent credentials preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to influence senior leadership.

Responsabilités

• Lead FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis.
• Direct monthly financial reporting and KPI tracking for leadership.
• Analyze revenue trends, costs, profitability, and key drivers to identify opportunities.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions.
• Drive automation and BI enhancements with IT and finance systems.
• Mentor and develop financial analysts and foster accountability.
