Abbott in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis to lead accounting, reporting, planning and analysis activities. You will drive month-end close, plan development, and ROIs while partnering with IT on SAP-supported systems.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance with at least 7 years in a fast-paced environment, strong communication, and ability to prioritize and collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 7 years relevant experience in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
• Strong verbal/communication skills and ability to collaborate, negotiate and build consensus.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment while handling multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial accounting, reporting and analysis including month-end close.
• Lead financial planning and analysis with development of plans, LBE's and LRP's; support consolidation.
• Ensure proper tracking of commitments and expenditures; maintain capitalization of assets.
• Provide financial leadership to operations including ROI/DCF analyses and audits.
• Partner with IT on SAP-related financial systems support.
• Establish internal controls and guide staff; interact with Corporate Audit and SOX PMO.
• Manage and develop staff including hiring, development and training.
• Lead strategic, cross-divisional projects and teams.
