Job summary

Asana is seeking a Corporate and Strategic Finance Manager to join our FP&A team in San Francisco. You will strategically assess growth drivers, partner with GTM teams, and deliver deep financial analyses for senior leadership.

The role is based in San Francisco with a hybrid in-office schedule (Mon/Tue/Thu in office; Wed optional WFH; Fri depending on work). You will own bottom-up GTM planning, ROI analyses, and reporting enhancements, while partnering across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Ops.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related quantitative field.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance concepts and accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience with financial and data analytics tools such as Anaplan and Databricks.
• Proven ability to cultivate cross-functional relationships with planning, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
• Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies to boost productivity and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Solve growth-related problems by analyzing large data sets to support executive decisions.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, Accounting, IT and Operations to drive impact.
• Support ROI-focused financial modeling and scenario planning across segments.
• Build GTM planning and forecast models linking investments, OPEX, headcount, and revenue.
• Propose strategic solutions to improve financial metrics in collaboration with GTM teams.
• Improve processes, standardize reporting, and install robust controls.
