Job summary

Asana is seeking a Corporate and Strategic Finance Manager to join our FP&A team in San Francisco. You will assess growth drivers, partner with GTM orgs, and deliver deep financial analysis to senior leadership.

The role is office-centric with a hybrid schedule; in-office days are Mon/Tue/Thu, with WFH on Wed and optional Friday depending on work. Base salary ranges from $164,000 to $186,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance concepts and accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience with financial and data analytics tools such as Anaplan and Databricks.
• Proven ability to build cross-functional partnerships and communicate insights to leadership.
• Ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Solve problems analytically by analyzing large data sets to drive executive decisions.
• Nurture partnerships across Sales, Marketing, Product, Accounting, IT, and Business Operations.
• Support strategic short- and long-term decisions through ROI-focused modeling and analysis.
• Build bottom-up GTM planning and forecast models linking investments, OPEX, headcount, and revenue.
• Propose strategic solutions to drive key financial metrics with GTM teams.
• Lead process improvements, standardization, and reporting while ensuring internal controls.
