Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa is seeking an experienced finance professional to support business and financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. You will work with executives and department heads to communicate results and develop metrics for decision making.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a quantitative field (Master’s preferred) and 5+ years of accounting/finance experience, with strong Excel and Office skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance/Data Analysis; Master’s preferred.
• At least 5 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Strong communication and ability to explain complex issues clearly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning.
• Advanced Excel skills: PowerPivot, Power Query, macros, pivot tables.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and support business and financial planning, including short and long term forecasting.
• Support the annual budget process.
• Facilitate the issuance of the Daily Operating Report.
• Support the Capital Expenditure process.
• Communicate financial and operating results to managers and executives.
• Develop financial and operating metrics for decision making.
• Provide centralized support for accounting, treasury, financial planning and tax.
