Parallax Space in Redondo Beach, CA seeks a commercially minded FP&A Manager to partner with the CFO. This hands-on role owns monthly management reporting, budgeting, rolling forecasts, cash planning, revenue/backlog analytics, and program-level performance.

You will integrate data from ERP/MRP, CRM and manufacturing to deliver decision-ready insights for the CEO and Board while establishing scalable, audit-ready financial processes as the company grows toward an IPO.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field; CPA, CFA or MBA is a plus.
• Approximately 3-10 years of progressive FP&A, financial modeling, management reporting or program finance experience; exceptional candidates with different tenure considered.
• Advanced Excel and three-statement modeling skills; demonstrated ability to produce executive-ready financial packages and explain variances.

Aufgaben

• Own and deliver a monthly management reporting package and quarterly financial scorecard covering revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, cash balance, operating cash flow/burn, backlog, bookings, and book-to-bill.
• Deliver consolidated and business-line P&L analysis: monthly, quarterly and year-to-date actuals versus budget, prior periods and current forecast; explain material volume, timing, mix and cost variances.
• Prepare concise Board-ready narratives identifying performance drivers, key financial risks, forecast changes, capital needs and decisions requiring Board attention.
• Maintain consistent KPI definitions, reconciliations to the general ledger and CRM, reporting calendars, and management dashboards.
