Job summary

CHAOS Industries is seeking an FP&A Analyst in California to own the long-range plan, company-wide forecast, and board materials. You will partner with Engineering, G&A and S&M to track spend, headcount, and explain drivers behind the numbers, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

The role emphasizes building dashboards on Datarails, identifying process improvements, and delivering timely analyses to leadership and investors. A strong finance background and advanced Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance-related field
• 2+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or similar analytical role
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite) and FP&A planning tools (Datarails)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Own monthly forecast and budget-to-actual inputs for partner areas
• Develop inputs to the company-wide forecast and annual plan
• Track actuals against plan and discuss variances with partners
• Prepare analyses and talking points for leadership and investor materials
