Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Manager for FP&A Tech Finance focused on Enterprise Data (eData). You will lead as a dedicated finance business partner, owning monthly actuals and outlooks, and mentoring junior team members to deliver impactful insights.

You will collaborate with Enterprise Product and Tech leadership, build sustainable financial frameworks, and influence strategic decisions through data-driven storytelling in a high-visibility role in New York.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ years financial analysis experience; 5+ years financial modeling experience.
• 1+ year in a Financial Planning function; 1+ year people management experience.
• MBA, CFA, CPA preferred; 6+ years of analysis and modeling experience in FP&A.
• 3+ years in financial planning or project leadership/mentoring roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor junior team members, manage workloads and priorities.
• Own budget and forecast accuracy; drive end-to-end forecasting and explain key cost drivers.
• Prepare executive-ready analyses and storytelling to influence leadership.
• Build structured financial models; assess implications of corporate actions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to influence actions and deliver on strategic agendas.
• Drive process improvements and ad-hoc analyses under tight timelines.
