Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking a Manager of Corporate FP&A to advance financial planning, reporting, and forecasting across the enterprise. You will develop and maintain models, build pro forma analyses, and drive data-driven decision making with a focus on efficiency and strategic growth.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, prepare executive-level decks, and contribute to investor communications. A strong background in finance and a drive to apply AI tools to planning are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of FP&A, private equity, or similar experience.
• Knowledge of financial statements and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide ad hoc analyses across corporate initiatives with spend, investments, and transformations.
• Build and maintain models to support long-term decisions and P&L impact.
• Develop financial projections for planning and investment decisions including proforma M&A activity.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and creating executive presentation decks.
• Collaborate with FP&A teammates and business partners to lead planning activities.
• Identify efficiency opportunities based on unit economics.
• Provide insights on performance trends and support external investor reporting.
