Cengage Group is seeking a Manager of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis to strengthen our budgeting and forecasting process. This role partners with finance and business teams to build models, project financial outcomes, and provide strategic insights.

A strong foundation in Excel, PowerPoint, and earnings quality is essential. You will lead ad hoc analyses, support investor communications, and drive efficiency through data-driven decisions and AI-enabled tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform ad hoc analyses based on corporate initiatives requiring understanding of spend, investments and transformations.
• Build and maintain models to support long-term decisions and P&L impacts.
• Develop financial projections for planning and investment decisions including proforma M&A activity.
• Assist in market and competitor intelligence and analyze business opportunities.
• Assist in crafting budgeting and forecasting decks for executive discussions.
• Collaborate with FP&A team and business partners to lead budgeting, forecasting, and driver analysis.
• Identify efficiency opportunities based on business unit economics.
• Provide insights from performance trends and proactive analyses.
• Support external investor presentations and data requirements for reporting.
