Job summary

Cengage, a global edtech leader, seeks a Manager of Corporate FP&A to strengthen corporate reporting and forecasting. You will lead analyses across initiatives, build models for long‑term decisions, and contribute to budgeting and revenue/expense driver analyses.

You will collaborate with the FP&A team and business partners, identifying efficiency opportunities and supporting investor data needs. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years’ FP&A, private equity, or similar role.
• Knowledge of Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities with multitasking.
• Aptitude for AI and operational transformations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical, quantitative and problem-solving abilities.
• Curiosity, resourcefulness, flexibility and collaboration.
• Self-starter who takes initiative and meets deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ad hoc analyses based on corporate initiatives across the organization.
• Build and maintain models to support long-term decisions and P&L impacts.
• Develop financial projections including proforma M&A activity.
• Assist in market and competitor intelligence and analyze opportunities.
• Craft budgeting and forecasting decks for executive discussions.
• Collaborate with FP&A and business partners on planning activities.
• Identify efficiency opportunities from unit economics.
• Provide insights from performance trends and analyses.
• Streamline planning and reporting with AI-enabled tools.
