Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead the company’s long-range planning, budgeting, and executive reporting. You will partner with senior leadership to evaluate plans, communicate variances, trends, opportunities, and risks, and support decision-making with robust analyses.

This role requires expert financial modeling capabilities, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate with the executive team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related business field.
• 7–10 years total experience with 3–5 years in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Investor Relations.
• Experience in retail, consumer products, apparel, or other customer-focused industries a plus.
• Role may require mentorship and/or direct supervision of Financial Analysts or Rotational Program Associates.
• Self-starter who can excel in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
• Requires focus amid rapidly shifting priorities, attention to detail, independent problem solving and adherence to tight deadlines when required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee long-term planning and develop assumptions for the financial model.
• Consolidate projections from all business areas to produce the business-wide income statement.
• Develop and present executive-level scenario analyses in support of long-term strategic discussions.
• Leverage best practices and understanding of interdependencies to enhance modeling approaches and efficiency.
