Job summary

Red Cell Partners is seeking a strategic finance leader to support the firm and our portfolio companies. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will shape incubation strategy from a financial perspective and own M&A and forecast initiatives across multiple startups.

The role operates across internal finance discipline and strategic market positioning, offering exposure to how new ventures are funded, scaled, and governed, with collaboration across CFO and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, or FP&A.
• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required or equivalent.
• Ability to set objectives, manage time, and organize work to meet goals.
• Ability to influence across levels and work well in a team.
• Strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building ability.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• High accuracy, precision, and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; adaptable in presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead modeling for acquisitions, spin-offs, IPOs, and liquidity events across the incubation portfolio from initial modeling through close.
• Conduct comps research to inform M&A and fundraising; provide market context for strategic planning.
• Build and manage financial models for incubations, including scenario and cash-flow planning.
• Monitor ROI, margins, CAC/LTV, and other core metrics; collaborate with sales, ops, and tech teams on business economics.
• Prepare investment committee and investor materials in collaboration with finance leadership.
