Job summary

Cacique Foods in Irving, TX is seeking a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. You will partner with Sales, Operations, and executives to steer profitable growth.

The role requires 7+ years in FP&A leadership in CPG/manufacturing, strong financial modeling, and people leadership. Hybrid schedule: 4 days in-office, 1 day remote, with performance bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive finance experience with FP&A leadership responsibilities.
• CPG, food manufacturing, or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial performance management.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and business partnering capabilities.
• Ability to translate financial data into strategic business recommendations.
• Experience presenting insights and influencing decisions with senior and executive leadership teams.
• Demonstrated success improving processes and scaling financial operations in a fast-paced growth environment.
• Experience coaching and developing direct reports; comfortable in a PE-backed environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic finance business partner to Sales, Operations, and Executive Leadership, delivering actionable insights that drive profitable growth.
• Lead annual budgeting, long-range planning, and rolling forecasts to support business objectives and private equity value creation goals.
• Drive operating margin improvement through analysis of pricing, product mix, cost optimization, capacity utilization, and strategic investments.
• Own financial performance reporting, variance analysis, and KPI management to ensure visibility into business results and key drivers.
• Develop and enhance dashboards, reporting tools, and financial models that translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
• Present financial results, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to leaders across the organization, influencing key decisions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen FP&A processes, increase scalability, and improve planning accuracy.
• Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team while remaining hands-on in analysis and execution.
