Job summary

RSM US LLP in New York seeks a Senior Finance Leader for the Consulting line of business to oversee FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning, driving performance and efficiency. You will partner with firm leadership to translate numbers into actionable insights, manage operating expenses, and coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and M&A activities while leading a global finance team.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or Business is required.
CPA, MBA Finance, or similar degree preferred.
Administration credential is required.

Responsibilities

Drive the financial performance of the Consulting LOB by providing input about business-critical decisions and strategies.
Collaborate with leadership to define strategies and objectives that align with the firm, quantify value, and assess progress against goals.
Act as a spokesperson for Consulting LOB financial opportunities and oversee budget, contract management, technology needs, cost analysis, reporting, forecasting, and M&A activity.
Present to firm-level executive leaders regarding financial performance, strategies, and opportunities for all Consulting teams.
Create cost savings ideas and benchmark those ideas against outside agencies.
Manage operating expenses at the enterprise level and forecast/compare actual vs. forecast; ensure spend aligns with benchmarks.
