Associated Bank is seeking a Finance Manager to act as a strategic finance partner for Operations and Technology. You will lead financial planning, forecasting, profitability analysis, and decision support for key initiatives, guiding business cases and performance management while developing a team of analysts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management, Economics, Accounting, or a related field or equivalent amount of education and experience.
• 7+ years of financial analysis, FP&A, or banking experience
• Experience providing financial analysis and decision support to business leaders
• Leadership experience managing direct reports and developing team members
• Preferred: experience supporting technology, infrastructure, or development-related financial initiatives
• Preferred: experience developing and evaluating business cases for strategic investments
• Cost accounting and profitability reporting experience

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to provide financial insight, strategic guidance, and decision support for Operations and Technology initiatives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and profitability analysis for assigned business areas.
• Develop and evaluate business cases supporting technology investments and strategic initiatives.
• Communicate financial results, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to senior leaders through clear and impactful presentations.
• Review and approve financial analyses, assumptions, forecasts, and recommendations prepared by the team.
• Drive improvements in forecasting accuracy, reporting effectiveness, and financial planning processes.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of finance professionals while managing priorities and performance.
• Ensure financial planning and analysis processes, controls, and documentation meet governance, audit, and regulatory requirements.
