Job summary

n8n is seeking an experienced FP&A leader to own the forward-looking financial plan for top and mid funnel across PLG and SLG. You will partner with Marketing, RevOps, Data, and Controlling to turn demand and investment decisions into an integrated financial view for leadership and board audiences.

You’ll drive annual planning, forecasting, and budgeting end-to-end, ensuring budgets align with company targets and regional needs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in FP&A or strategic finance in tech or B2B SaaS.
• Led complex, multi-entity planning, budgeting, forecasting end to end.
• Deep marketing finance partnering across PLG and SLG demand motions.
• Fluent in CAC, CAC payback, CLV/CAC and funnel velocity.
• Built and defended investment cases for brand, community, content, or similar spend.
• Budget ownership including commitments, phasing, agency costs and reallocations.
• Develops sophisticated, integrated financial models resilient to changing inputs.
• Translates complex analysis into clear recommendations for leadership and board.
• AI- and automation-first mindset; uses AI tools to improve planning and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own marketing planning and forecasting end to end with regional segmentation and company-wide alignment.
• Partner with budget owners across demand gen, brand, community, DevRel, product marketing, and events.
• Own program spend with contracts, events, sponsorships, phasing, and reallocations.
• Model demand creation, MQLs, activation, opportunities, conversion, velocity for PLG/SLG.
• Translate funnel levers into the integrated top-line model and quantify ROI.
• Turn financial reporting and variance analysis into actionable insights for leadership.
