Transamerica is seeking a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to provide accurate, timely financial insight across the organization. You will connect US GAAP performance, capital considerations, and KPIs to help leaders evaluate trade-offs and make informed decisions.

The role establishes modern finance platforms, disciplined processes for monthly and quarterly reporting, and builds trusted partnerships with business-unit partners across insurance and non-insurance financial services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience.
• 12 years of accounting/finance experience including eight years of management experience.
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office, Excel and financial business systems.

Responsibilities

• Build an inclusive, high-performing FP&A environment through clear priorities, coaching, collaboration, and accountability.
• Lead enterprise FP&A activities that translate financial and operational performance into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders and business partners.
• Partner with Finance, Technology, Actuarial, and business teams to source, organize, and optimize financial data for reporting and decision support.
• Deliver accurate and timely analysis of US GAAP results, capital considerations, and KPIs, highlighting trends and opportunities.
• Oversee modern finance platforms, reporting frameworks, data flows, and governance practices.
