Job summary

Transamerica is seeking an experienced Finance professional to provide advanced FP&A analysis, performance management, and finance transformation support for the FP&A organization in the United States. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience.
• Ten years of financial analysis experience, including work in the insurance, financial services or investment management industry
• Expert knowledge of accounting/finance
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Strategic thinker able to communicate on business/market and legislative issues at a macro level
• Organizational and prioritization skills, and the ability to make timely decisions using the appropriate information
• Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills to provide complex information to diverse audiences
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office, Excel and financial business systems

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced financial analysis and performance management within the FP&A organization.
• Lead complex analyses and workstreams delivering insights across U.S. GAAP, statutory, capital, and management reporting.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Actuarial, Capital Management, Investments, Technology and business partners to execute Finance priorities.
• Apply modern finance platforms, AWS-based data solutions, Power BI, and other analytics tools to improve reporting efficiency and governance.
• Develop executive dashboards, management reporting, and self‑service analytics using Power BI and other tools.
• Translate complex financial data into clear dashboards and metrics for senior leaders.
