Job summary

Axiom Space seeks a high-caliber Director of FP&A to serve as the financial backbone of a multi-program aerospace enterprise. This senior leadership role oversees Program Finance Managers and owns corporate planning, budgeting, consolidation, and executive reporting to the CFO.

The ideal candidate will drive process discipline, standardize EAC methods, and ensure accurate revenue recognition and cross-program resource allocation while partnering with Contracts and Legal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• MBA, CPA, or CMA strongly preferred.
• 12+ years of FP&A, program finance, or financial controlling experience in aerospace, defense.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A and manage multiple program finance managers across R&D, government and commercial contracts.
• Set FP&A methodologies, analytical standards, and compliance expectations across all program finance functions.
• Own the monthly close calendar: forecast collection, actuals-vs-forecast bridge, and management reporting package.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and prepare supporting schedules for inquiries.
• Consolidate program, business unit, and functional inputs into an integrated corporate P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Oversee budgeting and consolidation processes, templates, timelines, and version control.
