Job summary

Aether Aerospace is seeking a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to own the annual budget, forecasts, and long-range plans across business units. You will enhance driver-based forecasts, lead performance reviews, and provide concise board-ready commentary.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in FP&A or program finance, with defense/aerospace experience, advanced Excel modeling, and proficiency in Deltek Costpoint, JAMIS, Unanet, or Power BI. Remote-ready, and with a Secret clearance pathway.

Qualifications

Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
Experience with government contracting and defense/aerospace programs.
Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities.
Experience partnering with Accounting and program teams on forecasts and working capital.

Responsibilities

Own the annual budget, monthly forecasts, and long-range plan across business units with timelines and inputs.
Enhance driver-based revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, and cash flow forecasts with scenarios.
Lead monthly performance reviews and variance analysis; explain drivers and recommend actions.
Challenge forecast assumptions with leaders and incorporate estimates at completion.
Prepare executive/board reporting with KPIs and concise commentary.
Standardize forecast templates and reporting using ERP data; improve accuracy and efficiency.
Lead FP&A processes and develop team capabilities in collaboration with Controllers and Operations.
