Job summary

Everglades Boats is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting, reporting to the CFO and managing the Financial Analyst. The role focuses on forward-looking analysis, inventory management, and translating data into actionable insights.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in accounting/FP&A, manufacturing exposure, and strong Excel with BI/AI tooling. Collaboration with Operations and Engineering is essential to improve cost visibility and profitability.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Advanced Excel skills with automation experience (Power BI or AI modeling)
• Experience with financial reporting systems (SAGE)
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning including P&L forecasts and cash flow projections
• Develop financial models, scenario analysis, and business cases for decisions
• Manage and develop the Financial Analyst and establish priorities
• Oversee pricing standards and profitability monitoring
• Publish dealer inventory status and track metrics
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering for cost visibility and profitability
• Analyze costs, BOM, inventory, labor, and manufacturing data for cost-reduction opportunities
• Provide sales, product, customer, and margin analyses for planning
• Develop dashboards, KPIs, and recurring management reporting for CFO/leadership
• Support month-end and year-end close processes with Controller
• Assist ERP, financial reporting, and BI system improvements
• Perform special projects as requested by CFO
