Job summary

Everglades Boats is seeking an Accounting Manager for its Edgewater, FL facility. The role leads budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, and collaborates across operations, supply chain, and engineering to drive profitability.

The position reports to the CFO and manages the Financial Analyst, focusing on forward-looking analysis, cost control, and strategic decision support. Manufacturing experience strongly preferred, with expertise in ERP and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, FP&A, financial analysis, cost accounting, or a related role.
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred, including exposure to inventory, BOMs, standard costing, and variances.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and management reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and automation experience with Power BI dashboards or AI modeling.
• Experience with financial reporting systems; SAGE experience preferred.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning including P&L, cash flow, working capital, and departmental budgets.
• Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases for strategic decisions.
• Manage and develop the Financial Analyst role with priorities and review processes.
• Oversee annual setting of model year pricing and standards for profitability.
• Publish dealer inventory status and relate to retail metrics and trends.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other departments to improve cost visibility.
• Analyze product costs, BOMs, inventory, labor, and manufacturing data for cost-reduction opportunities.
• Provide sales, product, customer, and margin analysis for planning and decisions.
• Develop dashboards, KPIs, and recurring reports for CFO and leadership.
• Support month-end and year-end processes with Controller for proper reporting.
• Support ERP, financial reporting, and BI system implementations.
• Perform special projects and additional analysis as needed by CFO.
