Job summary

Referment is expanding its financial analysis and reporting team in New York to deliver forward-looking insights across a global investment and technology firm. You will blend financial modelling with data analysis to produce decision-ready reports and enhance reporting frameworks and analytics tools.

The role collaborates with finance operations and liaises with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, helping leaders understand performance and drive informed decisions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, data analytics or closely related field.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, computer science or another relevant discipline.
• Strong financial modelling and data analysis capabilities with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to explain findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new concepts and tools.
• Professional discretion when handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain models for budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Produce recurring and ad hoc reports for finance and leadership, highlighting trends and drivers.
• Analyse financial, operational and business data to support decisions.
• Build and standardise dashboards, reporting frameworks and analytics tools.
• Collaborate with colleagues across financial operations on business questions and capability-building initiatives.
