Job summary

Superior Essex is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support forecasting, budgeting, and business planning for the Fort Wayne operation. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Production Planning, Operations Accounting and Pricing to analyze financial performance.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with P&L analysis, and advanced Excel capabilities to build analytical models and present insights to Finance leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in finance, accounting, business, economics or related field.
• 5–6 years of related financial analysis or FP&A experience.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with ability to interpret data.
• Understanding of financial statements, budgeting and forecasting.
• Proficient in Excel; experience building financial models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and planning support to Finance Management.
• Analyze sales and margins; develop forecasts and monitor plant P&L performance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Accounting, Production Planning, Pricing and other partners.
• Prepare recurring reports and management presentations with actionable insights.
• Develop financial models and tools for planning and strategic initiatives.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through quantitative analysis.
