Job summary

Essex Solutions seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial analysis, forecasting, and business planning support for management. You will analyze sales, margins, and plant P&L, delivering actionable insights and accurate reports to guide decisions.

Collaborating across Sales, Production Planning, Operations Accounting, Pricing, and Finance, you will build financial models and forecasts, support budgets, and continuously improve reporting and planning processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 5–6 years of related financial analysis, FP&A, or comparable experience.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Proficiency with financial statements, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience building financial models and reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed financial analysis to support planning, forecasting, and decision-making.
• Lead and support sales and margin analysis, identifying trends and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain sales and margin forecasts with Finance, Sales, Pricing, and Operations.
• Analyze manufacturing plant P&L performance, including revenue, margins, costs, and drivers.
• Prepare recurring financial reports and management presentations for leadership.
• Compare actual results against budgets and forecasts; investigate variances and communicate findings.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
• Collaborate with Sales Accounting, Production Planning, Operations Accounting, and Pricing teams.
