Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks a skilled FP&A Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and analysis across the organization. You will build financial models, analyze performance, prepare management reports, and provide insights for strategic decisions.

You will identify trends, risks, and opportunities, conduct variance analyses, and propose improvements to planning and reporting processes. The role operates under general supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field and 5-7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, or a related financial discipline.
• Experience supporting government contracts, project-based organizations, or complex business operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze current and historical financial data and performance.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports, forecasts, and projections based on analytical findings.
• Evaluate capital expenditures and depreciation.
• Analyze financial performance trends and recommend improvements to business results.
• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and performance metrics.
• Support the development and implementation of best practices that improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to support financial and operational decision-making.
• Maintain daily availability, including occasional evenings and weekends, as necessary to meet business needs and deadlines.
