Harbinger Motors seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to lead budgeting and forecasting for Engineering OpEx, CapEx and headcount. You will partner with Engineering leadership to translate operational needs into financial impacts and present opportunities from the numbers to leadership.

The role requires strong financial modeling, cross-functional collaboration, and a proactive, problem-solving approach. Based in California, the position offers comprehensive HDV benefits and stock options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business with an emphasis in Finance.
• 5+ years of relevant Finance experience, preferably in Product Development.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly rolling forecast for OpEx, CapEx and headcount with variance analysis.
• Partner with leaders to understand operational performance and provide commentary for executive reviews.
• Assist in the annual budgeting process with cross-functional data consolidation.
• Monitor KPIs and identify trends, risks, and opportunities across the business.
• Track cost-down initiatives with Supply Chain and Engineering.
• Collaborate with Accounting and FP&A during month-end close for accruals and validation.
• Continuously improve processes and tools for accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide ad hoc analyses to transform data into actionable insights.
