Job summary

KBR in Houston is seeking a Corporate FP&A Analyst to support planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across corporate functions. You will translate financial results into forward-looking insights and partner with functional leaders to drive the business agenda.

Reporting to the Corporate Accounting and Planning Manager, you will lead budgeting, long-range planning, and variance analysis, while improving reporting processes and data quality across FP&A systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum two years FP&A or accounting experience with U.S. GAAP.
• Strong accounting knowledge linking actual results to forecasts.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication with non-finance stakeholders.
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail and sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for corporate functions, including headcount, Opex, capex, cash flow, and resource planning.
• Provide financial analysis and insights through variance reporting, trend analysis, scenario modeling, and performance reviews.
• Partner with functional leaders and cross-functional teams as a strategic business partner.
• Coordinate with Accounting and Treasury to ensure financial integrity and forecasting accuracy.
• Support reporting, allocations, governance, maintaining planning documentation and controls.
• Drive process improvement, automation, and data optimization of planning tools and analytics.
