Job summary

Rimkus Consulting Group in Houston seeks a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A, to own monthly KPI and P&L variance reporting, support forecasting, and drive analytics initiatives. You will partner with business leaders to deliver timely insights and automate processes.

The role requires strong Excel, budgeting, and SQL familiarity, plus experience with planning tools. You will contribute to annual budgeting, support M&A activities as needed, and help accelerate the financial close with efficient

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting/business/economics or related field.
• 3+ years of Finance or FP&A experience in an analytical role; prior FP&A experience preferred.
• Experience with budgeting/planning tools (OneStream, Vena, Hyperion/Essbase etc.) is preferred.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Compile and maintain monthly management reporting on KPIs for business segments.
• Prepare monthly P&L variance analyses against budget, forecast and prior year with commentary.
• Maintain and develop management reports, templates and supporting schedules.
• Assist in the annual budgeting and business planning process.
• Provide leaders with analytics and KPIs to drive the company forward.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses to support executives.
• Assist in process improvements to accelerate financial close and reporting.
• Support M&A and integration projects as needed.
• Other special projects as needed.
